I got a second interview for a job I'm extremely interested in! However, it's with the Chief Human Resources Officer. This is only my second real interview since college and I'm a little nervous.
Any advice on if I should handle this interview any different than the first? It will only be me and the CHRO I'm not sure what to expect.

What job are you applying for? What field or kind of company? Then we can better help you know what questions you will have to answer. I am interviewing myself for first time in 22 years
. I have several prepared several stories showing my accomplishments that I can use for different questions. YouTube is also a good resource for this.
There is a lot of resources on linked for interview prep if you pay for the extra services.
Don't let peoples titles intimidate you. They put their dress pants one leg at a time, the same as you do. And with that title, part of their job is to make you feel comfortable, if they don't try, that is in them, Best of luck!

Treat it like it is your first interview. Bring the same energy and zeal that you had in your first interview. Assume that the company has never even heard of you , enjoy yourself and show a lot of personality

My advice is to be yourself, as that helps with making sure the company is a good match for you. Do your homework on the company (if you haven't already) and ask the interviewer questions. Good luck!

Congratulations! That is amazing news! I am not sure what role you are applying for but research the company, its pain points, how your role would fit into solving those pain points, and be yourself!

Congratulations on your second interview. As others have mentioned, there are many good sites with information on the types of questions that you could be asked. Research the company if you have not already done so. But don't forget you can ask questions too. It's very helpful to bring a simple folder with extra copies of your resume, a copy of your references, a list of typed out questions that you want to ask and some paper for writing. Keep it simple and clean. This preparation will help you and frankly, give you something to do with your hands. Nerves make some people fidget. Also, hold yourself well, don't be afraid to make eye contact, and turn off the cell phone!
And don't be nervous about the title of the individual with whom you will interview. It's important for the company and the potential hire that the fit be right.

Think before you talk! My biggest pet peeve is candidates who start talking when they don't know where the sentence is going. It's totally find to take a second to think.

That's great! HR is usually looking for culture fit / add, so be prepared to talk through successful examples of your soft skills in action. Looking up the company's values (probably on their website) can help you see where you're aligned, which you can also discuss.
Showing passion goes a long way too! Companies want people who want to be there, and for the long term. Threfore, hold off on asking about benefits, time off, perks, etc. until an offer is made. Hope it goes well!
