Career Change from Teaching

I'm switching from a career in teaching to a full time remote job. I have 4 + years of experience in customer service and I'm for remote careers that involve my experience with customer service, community outreach- ideally for social justice oriented-minded companies. If anyone has any ideas, suggestions, network possibilities, please let me know. I'm willing to relocate from China, Maine if necessary too.

Check out a company like Khan Academy - it's virtual online teaching. I think this would be a perfect transition into working virtually doing training for a company, and then you can move from there into a customer service role, if you like it! https://www.khanacademy.org/

This isn't social justice oriented, but a lot of finance and insurance agencies like prior teachers. Have you looked at being a remote assistant? Depending on the agency, they may be very active assisting in their community.

Some insurance agencies are consolidating, currently laying off, and are making lead generation a requirement of entry level workers. So far I don't think insurance and real estate markets are as stable as we'd like to think. And I don't want my job security to depend on the number of sales/leads I generate. Thank you for the suggestion.
