What's your secret weapon when dressing for an interview?

Mine isn't an item of clothing per se, but still something you wear — a dab of lavender oil on the wrists. It's incredibly calming!

Always, always, always wear heels. I'm just shy of 5'2" so I feel like I need the extra height. Additionally, I find that I'm most "on" mentally when in heels. Looking sharp makes me feel sharp!

I was just asked that same question about negotiations - what's your attire before going into negotiations. I think the most important thing is to dress what's authentic to you and what makes you feel confident. There is no right or wrong. I prefer to focus on shoes, if you want to know whether I will be holding negotiations or not on any given day (that includes negotiating for myself or on behalf of my staff) - look at my shoes. I have few pairs that are my go to that give me an extra boost of confidence.

I have a "secret mindset" for dressing for interviews if that counts (ha) but pops of color are my thing! That may be red flats with a black and white outfit to one interview, or a color-blocked dress with minimal accessories to another.
