In September, I started mentioning things I wanted to discuss at my annual review. Not only did we never have a conversation, my boss (direct, under the owner) and I just got into a huge fight at work about it. The office staff was left out of Christmas cards last year . . . but asked to hand them out to the work crew employees. I feel overlooked and unimportant to the company and both my bosses. My boss says giving me a raise was all the feedback I needed. How do I continue working here? This all really centers on me not wanting to attend an optional company event where I really felt unappreciated last year. Help.
