Our world is threatening to keep us off balance, wobbling, teetering, riding the waves, more in the troughs than top of the crests. On my walk the trees were beckoning me to hear them. I found my spot between the tree and sky and sun dappling and listened to the message. The gentle breeze provided the music, the leaves their ballet, the birds their song and the rays of warmth their portal to my stillness. My personal world is changing - career, caregiving, finances, details morphing from frenzy to systematic planning. The leave bid me to look at them, circling gently from the top of their success to be one with the ground. It gave me hope that the cycles of life and change are optimistic and beautiful. Transitions are inevitable. Severing. Require adjustment and most importantly reflection and gratitude. The leaf blanket covered me. I rose stronger and more determined to prevail, change what courses needed to be changed and keep joy at the forefront of my life. I hope this for all of you. As simple as this sounds, I know it's not always easy. Find your tree today; your spot on the ground; the warmth of the sun and listen to all the things speaking to you. Have a beautiful experience. The work of your humanity freed from fear and anxiety is so powerful, so kind, so contagious and compelling. Peace be with you.
