Hi! Consistent "all hands" or "town hall" meetings from department leaders on a monthly basis, weekly team meetings where you don't talk about work but just do a mental health check in and play games (zoom Pictionary, Jeopardy, a tasting where the supplies were sent to our homes), "round tables" to discuss current events, no meeting Friday and Wednesday post 3pm EST to ensure balance.. it's a challenge to engage remotely but it's possible as long as you have a team who cares about each other :)

I also try to engage team members individually or in small groups, and then get them all together.
For my direct reports, I also give out small tokens of appreciation at random times, so they know I’m thinking of them.

We have a "social" call at the end of the day - totally optional, but sometimes you want/need that outlet. We also have a more informal group chat. From time to time, we also have fun events (Halloween gift bags), but have started steering away from conference call "events" like BYOB happy hours due to Zoom fatigue feedback.

We play games in our department once a week. We use jackbox games so we can play online. We have upped our monthly department meetings to weekly. We have a "happy hour" on Friday evenings. Anyone can join the games and the 'happy hour' but it is not required. The weekly department meetings help the department feel better about the state of the company in uncertain times, employees can ask questions ahead of the meeting for department leaders to answer.

We have weekly team meetings, monthly town halls, optional zoom chats in small groups with various management leaders, dedicated groups based on diversity status, and special video Q and A’s set up with various team leaders and celebrity clients discussing issues of the day and their approach to working in the current environment.

Town halls that are transparent, tackling difficult questions or subjects that are on people's minds during this pandemic. Perhaps collect stories of those who are willing to share and be vulnerable so that people don't feel alone in their concerns and stresses.
