Weekend? Weekday? May? June? July?

I feel like I’m living in my very own Groundhog Day. I’ve lost track of the day of the week and the date and am close to losing what month it is. I was let go the end of March and it feels like since then I’ve been doing the same thing day in and day out. Got up, search the job boards, LinkedIn, check emails hoping something new has come up that would fit my skills. Even projects around the house feel all the same. Organize one room and move on to the next. I only moved in this house in August but it seems like every room could be better organized, especially my office. It was haphazardly thrown together so I could start working ASAP as I did work from home for a PA based company. I did post about my craft room last week - that’s almost finished. YAY!! Who else feels like you’re living in your own personal Groundhog Day or is it just me?

Oh yes. I completely relate. I browse through my email. Look for job postings, try to get some ideas and boost myself up on this site and on The Resting Mind site. I read some, spend time with my daughter, clean some. Network some.

Sorry to hear about your job....losing a job at any time for no fault of ours is stressful and particularly at this time, its even more unnerving....having gone through it personally some years back, I can let you know that what you are doing may feel like a blind routine but this is exactly what you need to keep doing...the mantra is network and more network, reach out to ex-managers, colleagues, recruiters and browse through LI posts for jobs closely matching your skills...the wait may be long but it will bear fruits.. it took me over 1.5 years to finally land a good job, so please do be patient and dont GIVE UP!! prayers coming your way :)
