While struggling to balance mentally is so important to me. My life began shifting dramatically in 2017 when I was diagnosed with PTSD and severe depression! Reflecting on the process of ending a 35+ year marriage, getting out of the rat race of a high performing worker, living alone for the first time, repairing relationships with my 2 daughters, COVID-19 has been quite easy for me to adjust to. I’m figuring out what this new way of existing means to me as I reclaim my some of the things I enjoyed before I became responsible for so much.

Welcome! It sounds like, after the many challenges that the past few years have presented you with, COVID-19 has been a much needed break. I hope the time has been healing for you. Stay healthy and be well!

Cheryl,
Welcome!
I am feeling the same. After working long hours for so long, I joke that COVID has finally allowed me to "catch up"! Finding some "me" time has allowed me to focus on my own growth!

That’s awesome! I initially thought that now...after raiding children, chasing degrees and careers...now there is time to finally get my writing done. But with all the distractions I have to work on discipline to focus and get it done!
Thank you!?
