Have you ever looked into CBT / or hypnotherapy? I know this is less than conventional, but it helped my chaotic traumatic abusive childhood wounds.

Integrity Matters!
A little unconventional, but look onto Neurofeedback. It's pretty different than talk therapy and involves brain mapping and then brain training to literally reprogram your brain in the areas that show up on the map that need improvement. All the best to you...sometimes it's really hard when we hit these rough patches in life...kudos to you for being resourceful! ?

Hi there - sorry to hear you're feeling down and like nothing has been helping so far. This year has been very challenging for so many people, and it sounds like for you, too. Your posting isn't clear on this, so forgive me if you have: Have you tried more than one session with each of these individuals? The first session in therapy is typically used for establishing the issues that the client wants to talk about--the therapist is in information gathering mode, and likely doesn't have anything to offer yet as advice or guidance.. Also forgive me if you know this already, but from your description it looks like you're looking for someone trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and knowing that might help narrow your search, too. One last thing in the meantime: I'm not a mental health professional, but I have had CBT myself. One slightly actionable thing you can start right now is this: When you are faced with a negative scenario, and you are certain the situation is black and white, good or bad: ask yourself if you can come up with three alternative reasons why that scenario is that way. For instance, someone cut you off in traffic and almost made you run into them. You could think "Wow, that guy is just such an jerk, I can't believe they would do that to me!" and instead you think, "Maybe they just found out their child was in a car accident," or "Maybe this is a new car to them, and they didn't see me here," or "Maybe I was looking at the car stereo too long and I could have seen them coming." Our brains are tricky, and can play tricks on us. Best of luck--mental health is never an easy issue to deal with, and I'm proud of you for getting the help you need and deserve.

My issue is I have had a lot losses this year , basically left with nothing . No matter what I do , my Brain always goes to a negative place because I’m not happy . I’ve watched countless videos on mental health and re training the brain , psychology , law of attraction you name it nothing works . I’m just so miserable . I’ve been dealing with health problems for the past 4 years and I’m about to give up . It’s like I can give great advice and no would ever know by personality I’m suffering from the outside but I am. There’s like nothing to look forward to . I go to the gym I get a hobby nothing works I’m just alone and lonely because I’ve had to move out of state from job loss to stay with my family who doesn’t support me at all . I’ve even written a gratitude list . Also have. A major fear of death from my health issues . It’s just too much .

My heart goes out to you. You have taken a lot of wise steps in your work toward regaining your state of happiness. People who have never had a health crisis sometimes cannot relate. Have you looked in Psychology Today for therapists who meet your criteria?

Hi, I think that you should try something outside of the box? If you have been working with psychologists who sometimes tend to not provide actionable advice or really help with deep transformation, perhaps you should try something else and then evaluate whether or not it works. Have a look at this link and ask for Amelia and she will give you a discount on a first session if you mention that you got the information from FairyGodBoss https://relationshiphero.com/coaches . I really recommend trying it.

You have to go to their website and go through an intake and ask to be paired with coach Amelia and say that you heard about it at FairyGodBoss and they will give you a discount.
