My boss was a women who was younger than me and she and I didn’t always see eye to eye, which is why I believe I was fired. She was a bully to me behind closed doors and would humiliate me in front of other people. This has left me devastated to say the least. I have never had a boss yell at me the way she did and I’ve never, in the thirty years of working in a professional setting been made to feel so bad about my job performance. She would cry in front of her boss and play the victim role when she wasn’t getting her way. She’s truly a toxic person. I’m really not sure what to do next. The worst part is that this women will continue to act this way and I have coworkers who I consider friends, working along side her.
Does anyone have any advice as to how a 52 year old woman, who has never been fired, pick up and move forward? Or if there is anything legally I can do so that women doesn’t do this to anyone else?
