Last year, I was fortunate to become a members of a “Remote/Nomad” travel group, and I travelled throughout LATAM with them while I studied Data Science courses during my career transition. I’ve been wanting to make global-travel a priority, but/fortunately, after my travels, I landed a Data Science position in San Francisco, where work obligations halted all international travel.
In October, I was terminated from my position as a Data Scientist. I was at a start-up that couldn’t to compensate for a Junior-level mistakes while transitioning to government-funded COVID objectives (this is understandable, of course). While I was disappointed the position did not work out long-term, the ending of that position has renewed my desire to live and work from various countries. I find myself feeling anxious about having to live in the US in order to advance my career...
For any FairyGodBoss Nomads out there, I’d love some advice on how I can tailor my job search to companies that are more globally-minded, that will enable me to work with co-workers and on projects that span across countries, and that will allow me to live in other countries while working for them.

Hi Emily. I totally agree with your thoughts. Travel experience could contribute a lot on people's global vision.
I'm based in SF Bay Area too and studying for my career transition to become an analyst. Let's keep in touch!
