My boss accidentally heard my "Get me out of here" and I'm so embarrassed
I was on a Zoom team meeting this week and our boss was being particularly critical of our work. I appreciate feedback, but it felt like none of us could do anything right and it was so hard to figure out what he wanted. When he started to review one of our reports, I muttered "get me out of here" but realized after I wasn't on mute!
He stopped for a second but continued critiquing the report. I'm not sure whether to address it or let it be. I know I was wrong and I definitely did not want to be heard.
Has this happened to anyone while on a remote meeting? Did you address it and how?
