Hey community! I think I’m not alone when I say that COVID has made me take a hard look at and reevaluate my career choice. I am currently a manager level employee within the finance department and I just find little joy in it. Based on the things I enjoy about my job, I think I may really enjoy project management and have begun looking for jobs in that arena. My question is, how on earth do I get companies to look at my resume and see past the technical finance experience I have, and see the soft skills that would be highly transferable enough to give me a shot? I have project management experience within my departments at each job but it’s not full-time experience, usually just 1-3 projects. Any advice is appreciated!
