Quarantine Mother’s Day gifts?

Hey all! I’m sure I’m among many who won’t be seeing their loved ones for Mother’s Day this year and and I’m looking for some inspiration! My go-to is flowers but I think theses moms deserve something more/different. What are you gifting your loved ones for Mother’s Day this year? Are you sticking with usual gifts or getting creative during this health pandemic? There’s no wrong answer here... thanks in advance!

I think the best gifts are personal and thoughtful. I'm giving my mom some books on making mosaics because she loves to make them and she recently shared that she plans on incorporating them into her business. Think of something she can benefit from or would really like. Maybe a hobby she doesn't normally have time for but can enjoy during these slower, quarantine days.

My parents just had their 50th Anniversary. As my dad was scheduled for surgery, I had anticipated not being able to have a celebration, so when his surgery was postponed, I was actually already ready. I had messaged, mailed, and called family and friends asking them to write a letter to my parents and mail them to me. I ordered a mailbox from Lowe's (white) and added decals I bought from Etsy. We spray painted the inside and the flag gold (50th anniversary and all...lol). We presented the mailbox with 80+ letters of love and memories to them. It was beautiful!! Bonus: The writers enjoyed reminiscing and sharing. My mom enjoyed reading them. My mother then enjoyed sharing memories in notes back. The writers were gifted by my mom's messages in return.

I am crocheting some small spa type items to mail to my sweet mother-in-law. She likes flowers, but we'll wait until we can travel to see her in person to get flowers for her. If our children were smaller, we would probably do some sort of photo gift.

I am making a shawl for my mom in law. Have to ship it but she will love the fact that I took the time to make her something much more than anything I could buy.
