Out of curiosity, how has going through menopause affected your work life? Whether you are perimenopausal or full blown, between the mood swings, hot/cold flashes and everything else, how do you feel you have tackled this added challenge in the workplace?

Fortunately for me I never has to wrestle with any symptoms that were that profound. I had a small fan on my desk for the occasional hot flash and an extra sweater in my office for the aftermath of those sudden flashes. I learned to listen closely to my body so I took extra time off when I felt fatigued and remembered to drink a lot of water to stay hydrated. I found less patience to deal with office drama so I switched jobs when things were no longer serving me. I found renewed interest in creativity so I started my pottery hobby which eventually turned into a side hustle.
My journey was fairly mild and easily accommodated.

That is awesome! Yes, that is what I am doing now with the job change. I find myself with less ability to put up with the drama and politics of working in an office and am refocusing my energies in other ways.
