I've been job searching since early February due to a restructuring in my company, and back in February I was contacted by a recruiter about 2 roles at a company I'd be happy to work for. She was very pushy initially, texting and calling and emailing multiple times a day to get my resume and then to give me updates on interviews. The last I heard from her was early March when she said my two interviewers had really positive feedback and she was waiting for next steps. I never heard from her again, even after reaching out twice via email. Yesterday she called me and when I didn't answer she sent a very brief email saying another opportunity had come up and am I still on the market.
The thing is, I am still looking and it's been 4 months, so I don't want to burn the bridge especially if going through a recruiter is the best way to get this particular kind of job at this particular company. But on the other hand it was incredibly rude of her to essentially ghost me for three months and then reach out as if nothing had happened! I really want to reply telling her she's a terrible excuse for a recruiter and to go to hell (but I won't!) What should I do?
