Private vs Public?
I used to work in a private sector, and recently I just started in a public sector. I don't know how I feel about it currently... My managers are not the greatest and I feel like a people get away with a lot there because they really can't get fired. What are the pros and cons of private vs public sectors? And are private sectors all that great (because they provide great benefits)? There are private sectors that offer just as much?

So you would consider a private sector instead? I’m not sure if I might have the mindset of the private sector too. I feel stuck and I actually received a pay cut and have to drive 1 and a half to and from (with the way gas prices have been looking), I don’t really feel this job is worth it anymore

I work for the Public Sector for 3 years and I LOVE my work environment. I never feel guilty for taking a day off, I have no work related stress and if I ever do it's extremely minimal. I also feel safe that protocol will be followed and that you have protection from a lot of things unlike the private sector. Also, nothing compares to my insurance or pension.. in my perspective at least. beside a higher salary.

My managers don’t communicate effectively. I have had questions in the past and say I don’t know because they’re about to retire and don’t care. So I’m really confused and concerned. I feel like I’m actually stuck than moving up professionally.
