Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Work Policy - Does Privacy Exist or Does Your Employer Know Your Every Move?
Not too long ago I saw someone make a post here about what firms can and cannot see on your personal device. My firm has a BYOD policy and will either pay for us to use our personal phones as work phones or will pay for the second work phone. They said that they are only able to see what applications I have installed but I'm not sure if they can also see how long I use them for etc... I don't want to be judged or "spied" on if I'm working or texting someone. Seems very big brothery to me if being honest. Was wondering if anyone knows if what the company says they have access to is actually all that they can see (which in this case is the apps installed) or if theres more to the story?
