I’m passionate about my work, fluent in 4 different languages and have a lot to offer. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find a job. Often, people aren’t keen on giving me a chance because I live in Senegal (West Africa), time zones can be tricky, work authorization for the US is also an issue. But I’ll I want is the opportunity to prove myself, I don’t know what to do anymore. I’d love some advice !

I am sick of how all my previous employers treated me.
Hi, I have worked blue collar jobs and all of them have been treating people horribly. They have been treating people they way the want to or based on their emotions on that day and most of these companies have terrible turn over rates. I was just thinking, is there a company that looks out for such things. Is there a company that overseas all companies and makes sure they are treating their employees like humans. I would like to work at such companies because I know so many people need to be fired from their jobs for being terrible and rude to employees.

I’ve enjoyed being on these boards for several years, but the number of men now posting and shouting down/mansplaining to women is deeply disappointing.
Almost every post I saw today had comments by the same male poster frequently telling women why they’re wrong.

Need some advice on how to navigate my toxic female boss with scarcity mindset.
Shes been promoted about 3-4 times over the last few years and is now a VP. She's a terrible female leader who is insecure and has scaricty mindset when it comes to opportunities. She also has BS'd her way to the top and her opinion never gets questioned despite feedback from several people about they way she treats women. She's undermining, controlling, gets jealous when other females do well, hijacks credit for work and puts her name on all the media opportunities even though she does nothing, etc. There are several issues here. One being that male leadership encourages the behavior and that she goes unquestioned, thus never held accountable. The other is the behavior itself (Which i dont anticipate will change. She is out for herself and herself only.) I've had to go outside my team to find other stretch goals and opportunities and have built other female allies in the company but my growth is limited because of my boss. She adds zero value to my work and has no subject matter expertise other than talking like she knows what she's doing. Question I'd like to pose to this group is, is it time to jump ship? Or are there any other suggestions out there from women who have dealt with this same kind of boss? I've tried providing feedback to her boss and it falls on deaf ears. I've tried talking to her 1:1 and it gets dismissed or she talks a big game like she'll pull me into more opportunities and then nothing happens.

Been applying to jobs for a few months now and have hit around 200+ applications with nothing promising.
I am a CRM Manager now, but my position has been eliminated due to budget cuts. The job market is crazy, anyone have any advice to help me land something? I followed a few different videos I have found to bolster my LinkedIn and my resume but still nothing.

I work at an assisted living facility and I am being forced to work a job I can’t.
we have a new manager that isn’t qualified at all. She only got the job because she kicked management’s ass and she does not do her job. If something goes wrong she blames everyone but her and everyone gets in trouble for her mistakes. Recently she has been making me do a job that I specifically told the old manager that I won’t be able to do because of my back injury. She has favorites and she gives my job to her favorites and makes me do their job. I have told her countless times that my contract says I won’t be doing this job but she insists. I need the money that’s why I do the job anyway. But I go home every night with terrible back pains and I am unable to sleep. The boss likes her so when I brought it up to my boss she said whatever the previous manager promised me isn’t going to cut it anymore. What do I do? Because my contract clearly says I can not do the job they are assigning me. Should I report to the cooperate office? Or do I sue?
I have tried searching for another job but I haven’t found anything yet and they know I need the job that’s why they are being this way.
