The alarm goes off and you think, 'Ugh, I just can't."
You go through your morning like a zombie and tense up just thinking about walking into the office and starting all over again, looking ahead to Friday.
If you're feeling this way, something's got to give. And it may not have to be your job.
Did you know, often times, we've reprogrammed our brains to not like our job because it has become our natural set point? We've said to ourselves, 'yuck, Monday, I can't wait for the weekend, I hate work, ' so much that we believe it.
If you're waking up on Monday thinking this, it's time to create space to figure out, am I really miserable or am I just complaining?
Once you determine WHY, you can start changing your energy around work. Spend time really acknowledging and appreciating what you do like about your job, what is working, the tasks that light you up and put you in a state of flow. Write them down! It is incumbent upon you to begin collecting evidence of things that you're enjoying instead of only seeing what doesn't work.
Our brains receives 11 million bits of information PER SECOND.
Our conscious mind sees only 50.
Your subconscious mind weeds out all those other bits of information based on your past thoughts, experiences, beliefs and habits.
Catch yourself when your mind goes negative and start changing your perspective.
Telll me - what's your Monday Mindset?

In the past, I used to have Sunday evening anxiety a lot. But now I plan my work week ahead on Friday evenings before I log out. This really helps me with preparing my mind and nerves over the weekend. I now tell myself on Sunday evenings "How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time".
Also, If I want to get ahead with some of my to do lists for next week, I log in like an hour or two on Sundays and get some work stuff done.

Setting our intentions for the week, before the week starts, is a great way to reframe our relationship with Monday!
