8 phrases guaranteed to make your colleagues smile

We're in really challenging, unprecedented times, ones that are still difficult to cope with months later. We could all use a pick-me-up every once in a while! There's no better way to connect with someone than sending a little happiness and appreciation their way. Here are some phrases I love using to improve my colleagues' days. 1. I'd love your insight. 2. I couldn't have done it without you. 3. I'm here for you. 4. You always know when to lend a hand. 5. You're an effective communicator. 6. You inspire me to do better. 7. I'm always impressed with your results. 8. I enjoy working with you. What do you say to your colleagues to brighten their day? Let's share some positivity!

I was thinking "Thank you for XX" Very precise specific appreciation goes a long way. And I agree with Nikki who said consistency is key!

It's so important to do this action consistently. "Hey, you are the most important people in the business. You directly impact the bottom line. That's why I work diligently to make sure you are happy, valued, and heard."

I like to acknowledge when people show vulnerability or say hard things. "Hey, I am sure it wasn't easy to give that budget presentation to the management team today, but I really appreciate your transparency and the courage to say what needs to be said, even when it's hard for us to hear it. Thank you!"
