Job sharing was my life saver for 9 years. I worked half the week with a kick butt partner and got better results at work than I ever could imagine. Plus, I had babies in daycare 4 days but worked 3 = 1 day just for me!! win-win-win for career-self-family!

Im currently in this situation and feeling overwhelmed. I was asked to travel 2 hours each way to our different offices for 2 days so I can conduct interviews Wednesday & Thursday, I finally took a half day on Friday to decompress as your own mental health is important, but that didn't work. My job kept bothering me as soon as I left, yesterday, and this morning at 803am. I know my limits and I know when to ask and get a break you should too take a step back and spend a day or a few hours would your kids on a normal day. I'm currently reevaluating and now actively looking again

I was totally overwhelmed but had a fair work schedule that could work around my child. I took advantage of every minute I had, I did my reading b4 work and at night. I made sure there wAs a pencil in the car for homework so in case I had to run errands my son could do homework in the car, the crockpot had a full time job. And I found excellent dishwasher soap

Yes, I work one salary position that a lot of the times results in my staying up very late at night and work on the weekend. I have an 11 year old so I don’t have to do as much for him as a younger child, but just the time for driving to and from school, homework, and dinner. I stay exhausted.
