Two people in my group were recently promoted and they both gossip and make up lies about others. It is petty and shows their insecurities. I am looking for other opportunities because some of the gossip is about me. I regret accepting a position there and had no way to know that this …

I can try to help you based on my experience. Luckily, I had the financial means to resign when my job was hitting my mental health horribly.
Are you able to do the work, like is it busy work bringing in a paycheck? If yes, then I would stay. If no, continue.
Do you have the financial capacity or resources to look for another job? 6-12 months of savings is recommended. I had roughly 3-4 months saved and luckily found a new role in 2 months.
If no, is the manager abusive or is the job hurting your mental health? If yes, quit immediately. Health is so much more important - take care of yourself :)

Hey .. to stay at a job that you already starting to feel a lot of work issues is an upbeat situation! If it’s already causing undecided decisions to make? You can just speak with your manager one on one and see she can explain some suggestions about the job or make your exit out the door.because we use too much energy on unnecessary things in life that we can’t control…! I wish you luck to make the more productive decisions) .
