What’s a consistent compliment you’ve received throughout most of your life or early adulthood and on?

This can be about anything from a special talent, a career attribute or even a physical feature. It’s not always easy talking about your own compliments you’ve received... I challenge you to share yours here.

Top 5 are my eyes, my hair, my hands. Also that I'm smart/wise and grounded.

“You’re mature for you age” - I got this growing up more so than now (since I’m an adult) but I always loved the compliment and think being the youngest sibling helped quickly progress my social skills.

That's a great compliment when you're 20 or 30, but you are on the high side of 40, you start evaluating exactly what the person means. :)

Ohh, so for many years it was "you're so creative." Which I love hearing, because sometimes I think my organized, Type-A, logical side is dominating so hearing that reminds me of my full capacity.

It has always been my eyes. I am always told I have beautiful eyes or "Oh my God those eyes" I personally don't see it but it's me looking at me. I always have people staring at me too and I can't figure out why. Maybe it's my eyes! hahaha :)
