Plane activities

What's your go-to activity for a long flight? I usually sleep or watch a movie, but I know some people who use that time for hobbies, catching up on email, etc.

Agree with you on sleeping or watching movies! I always try to download a bunch of movies or TV shows that have been recommended to me. I try not to login to check email or even be on a computer. I find I want to try and disconnect unless it's for a work trip, etc.

Write letters! I never have time to write letters in "real life" but I always think of plane rides as "time out of time" and writing letters to people I love is such a good way for me to think about our relationship differently and put time into it (plus who doesn't love receiving hand written letters).

I'm with you on my usual plane activities: Priority #1: Sleep if I can (I usually choose early morning or late night flights to maximize time at my destination) Priority #2: Watch a movie, read a book, write up a to-do list or plan for my next few days, draw

I like to read, watch a few movies (which is great for longer-haul flights) or nap (my go-to on shorter flights).

There are only 3 things that I tend to do: 1. Read 2. Watch a movie 3. Create content (usually for my site/event)

I like to download an audiobook to listen to offline, sleep, or journal! Occasionally if the plane offers inflight movies, I'll watch something cheesy and lighthearted that I haven't seen before.

Have a glass of wine (or three) to try to distract myself from flying in an air pressurized metal tube while I aimlessly watch movie after movie never retaining any memory of it.

Hahaha, my mom always takes a nice sleeping pill before planes to help calm the nerves!

I like to take the time to force myself to disconnect, I usually read, watch movies, or sleep.
