While I thoroughly enjoy providing customer service to the public, I also have much experience in bookkeeping. The problem is that my bookkeeping skills with both Quickbooks and Excel are 10 years old. I just completed Fundamentals of Accounting class to refresh my memory of Accounting using Excel and I've watched the Quickbooks tutorials. I was trying to make myself more marketable remotely even before the virus. What I am encountering is that the employment agency's are in need of very experienced, fast paced workers, no one seems to be hiring for entry level so I can get some hands on experience again. I would feel very comfortable working remotely for a smaller company or a company who has the time and patience to wait for my skill levels to increase. How would one go about finding employers like that online?
