Optimizing Corporate Resources to Include Prenatal Months
I have the ear of a large Fortune 500 company with meetings set up with with the corporate HR department to speak about the lack of content they provide to pregnant employees for their prenatal period (months 0 -9 gestation).
My goal is to update corporate HR policies and company intranets to incorporate prenatal resources for expectant mothers.
Too often companies only offer postnatal maternity leave content, while the first 9 months of gestation are just as confusing.
Please reach out to me with topics and ideas you think are relevant to expectant mothers to make working during their pregnancy easier to navigate.
Examples of topics I am already proposing: updated travel policy while pregnant, workspace accommodations, work mobility capabilities, insurance-sponsored healthy pregnancy programs, instituting an Expectant Mothers network to support working moms/new moms/moms-to-be.
