The DESPARATE Need for Stretching has begun!!

I'm a lifelong runner, and for the longest time, neglected to focus on the importance of stretching before and after runs. I'm now well in to my 30s, and I know my body can't keep up that neglect anymore. SO! Fellow runners and fitness enthusiasts out there, any go to stretches, routines, dynamic stretching, etc., that you can recommend for me? I'm all ears on this lol Thanks!

I'm not a runner, but simple yoga stretches have been a lifesaver after workouts, winding down at night. I'm in my 40's and they are a game changer.

Y.O.G.A. on days you don't run! You'll be all sorts of stretched.

I totally hear you. I had a irritated nerve for way to long because of not stretching. It started on my hip and went down to my toes. I stretch for at least 15+ minutes before my workout and at least 5+ minutes afterward. I know there isn't a magical stretching number and it depends on your own body but it is a time factor that I implement and has helped! Good luck!
