Anyone else deal with endometriosis pain?

I've had surgery twice and it's made a world of difference for a year or two after, but I still deal with endo pain. Today is a rough one! It's dramatically affected my life. Any tips you recommend to dull the pain? How do you deal with pain at work? I'm currently looking for a job and I'm nervous on how I'll handle my pain days when I can't crawl into a fetal position on my bed!

Once I was comfortable at my last job I just plugged my heating pad it and kept it at my desk. I would find that most people wouldn't see it on my lap and it definitely helped. I've also used the portable ones that you wear under your clothes which weren't as good but at least helped to a degree.

Acupuncture was recommended for me but it didn't really help me. I know it's helped others though! I changed my diet to eat lots of fruits and veggies and that seemed to help. Hope you feel better!

May I ask - how did you find out you had endometriosis? I have been suspecting that I may have it - constant cramping and other typical symptoms. Is there some sort of test your doctor can run or what was that process like?

I believe I was told that surgery is the only true way to find out because they can send biopsies to the lab.
