growing apart from your friends from a lifestyle perspective

Recently I have been having a hard time feeling on the same page as my friends when we plan social things. Some of my friends make a lot of money (2-3x what I make) so they often have ideas for activities/restaurants/bars that kind of make me cringe. Has anyone else experience this in adulthood...?... (suddenly feeling like you just have a totally different lifestyle from some of your best friends?) .. if so, how have you dealt without making things awkward?

Yesss. I end up hosting a lot because people generally bring something and that way I know I'm not going to be stuck with a giant bill to split.
