My mornings consist of waking up at 5:30a to read in the Bible App. I read the daily scripture and typically have a plan that I am reading as well; write in my gratitude journal; complete a 15 minute free-style workout with free weights followed by a full body stretch. And while I'm getting dressed, I'm listening to either the Calm app or something motivational on YouTube. At night, I lay my clothes out and pack my lunch. I also read, journal and will get another 15 minute free-style workout with free weights followed by a full body stretch. As someone who was under an abundance of stress, this routine sets me up for success!

I wake-up 30 to 60 minutes early just to enjoy my cup of coffee, the quietness of the house and also to pray/meditate. On days where I rush right into the shower, I feel more anxious and less "at peace."

1. get up 30 minutes before everyone in the house. it gives me a little time to get my mind together for the day. 2. write my to-do list the night before, so there's no question about what's happening and when

Daily gratitude journal... It is something that Rachel Hollis introduced me to. She sells the journals, but also preaches that it is very easy to do this in a $.50 notebook too - you do not have to buy her journal. You list 5 things that you are grateful for, and then you list 10 dreams you made happen, over the next 10 years. But you write the dream down as if it has happened. For example - I have written a best selling book. I have a rewarding career. She has an episode on her podcast about this - It is call the Start Today Journey and I think it is episode 72. =]

I head straight to the gym to get my morning endorphins moving! I find I have a much more productive day even if it's squeezing in a quick stretch.

Hmm, allowing myself to read about five pages of a novel in bed after getting up. Makes facing the rest of the day less a struggle because I got a little *me* time in.

I started getting up at 5 for a spin class at 6. I've done this since last August and it has made me into a morning person. I do 3 during the week and 2 on the weekends. Music always helps!
