Cutting costs

Is anyone else using this time at home to assess energy useage, grocery budgets, and just all around consumption of anything and cut costs? I have found even tho Im an energy friend use no more than needed, I am really implementing turn things off Buying roasts and cutting into steaks because I am saving money that way including packaging Im using. Monitoring our whole laundry situation and Im pretty sure our dryer is dying but Im not willing to give it up until its completely dead. I have also cut way back on how much dish soap, laundry soap, and even cleaning sponges I am using. These efforts do save us some money, not alot up front but within doing this I dont have to be at the store so often and I dont feel my energy company is robbing me (lol)

With the added time at home there is definitely an opportunity to assess budgets and how sustainable we are living. I was looking for some info the other day on how to be more sustainable while spending so much time at home (hello added energy bill) and found this article from a recycling company pretty helpful: https://recyclingpartnership.org/recycling-while-social-distancing-how-to-commit-to-sustainability-at-home/

You may really enjoy recyclebank.com as well. They also have an app I have been with them for like 7 yrs now! Plus if you read articles and such you bank points you can put towards things. I use the points for my magazine subscriptions! No guilt! And thank u!
