How do you feel about blowout bars?

I love the concept of getting your hair done once a week and having no worries, but most places seem a little pricey for the average earner. Do you use blowout bars on the reg? Or know anyone that does? If not, how do you maintain your hair and stay on budget?

I wish I could get a blowout every week! My hair lands so much better.

I can't afford to do a professional blow out except for special occasions. I bought the Revlon brush/ hair dryer that my friends raved about. They all have curly hair and are getting blow outs, at home, for a fraction of the price. It's pretty great and inexpensive (under $60?). I use mine weekly.

I just use them for special events, but I like the concept!

My friends do it often, but I feel like I would rather spend that money on other things. I also have pretty straight hair so I probably also am biased against them. But I know everyone that does go loves them. Otherwise, they spend a good amount of time on Sunday night doing it themselves.

I go every week. My hair is course and unruly and it saves me enough time each week to justify the cost. I could not do my hair blow out the way my stylist does, and it does last all week for me, my hair looks dry-ish before it ever gets oily. Takes about an hour and then I just shower with it wrapped or with a super-cap.

I should mention it costs only $35 and I don't do coffee runs. I feel the break down cost per day is worth it.

I went for the first time on a recent trip to Minneapolis- btw I highly recommend the DryBar in Wayzata, those ladies are awesome- and I loved it! I live in Vermont- so the likelihood of us getting a DryBar is basically zero- but if there was one- I would never wash my hair again.

I like them, but I only go for special occasions - it's a little too pricey to go regularly on my budget. I have taught myself how to blow dry my own hair a little bit better though, which is exciting!

I HATE doing my own hair, so I love blow out bars. I usually only do it for special occasions or events, and just manage my hair weekly. Some of the blow dry bars do have membership programs where you pay a monthly fee that I've thought about joining but haven't done it.

I LOVE them! Yes they can definitely be pricey, so I typically go for special occasions only. I have many friends that buy the membership package, which ends up saving some money. Personally, I don't mind blow drying my hair myself. I've learned how to do it well with a round brush. But still, it's nice treat to go get it done professionally :)
