I recently started going to therapy for the first time ever. After 4 sessions, I'm not really feeling it. I have no idea if this is because therapy just takes a long time to get used to, or if I'd like it better if I were seeing a different therapist. Since I'm paying a lot to go, I don't want to continue going if I don't feel comfortable/don't feel like it's been helpful. Looking for advice from anyone who's spent time in therapy: should I wait it out and be patient? Or look for a different therapist?
