I suffer from chronic migraines. Stress seems to be a pretty common trigger for me (I get let-down migraines AFTER the stressful event), and while I manage stress pretty well at work, when I get a particularly stressful week, it's not uncommon for me to miss part or all of a Friday in bed in agony. I know people at work suspect I'm faking (I get asked on Monday how I enjoyed my three day weekend). I don't know how to convince them I really only miss work for my migraines when it's unbearable and I can't help that sometimes happens on a Friday. They don't understand that a migraine is not fun and I'm not having a great time at home. Any thoughts on how I can make them understand?
