Management

I’m taking on a new role in a few months.

I’m training to be a store manager. I’m more of a hands on learning but I be trying to study different management skills and job opportunities on different websites but it don’t work for me. Can anyone give me some type of advice to help me understand management more. Like what resources can be useful for a first time manager?

Is there other managers who can help coach you? Listening and looking for the same stories is a big thing, you will have workers who will try to take advantage of your newness, also if you have to take care of ordering anything make a note to covering it with your overhead- treat it like a debriefing of to catch you up, and always politely ask for feedback!
