I am in charge of several people, most of whom have been in their jobs for a while and are just plain awesome. But I am also in charge of an intern, who is fresh out of college and is kind of missing the mark... She's not very professionally polished, she doesn't seem to have much drive and I've caught her falling asleep in several meetings. I will say, we kind of unfairly gave her a pretty big responsibility of posting on social media and managing our content calendar. I have learned that this isn't really a job for someone so new to the work world. So that's something I have to address with my management. But I have to have a tough feedback convo with this intern based on some of my own observations and the observations of several other people on my team and outside of my team who have helped train her. I'm MUCH better sharing my thoughts in writing, but I know this is a HUGE learning moment for me as a new manager of people. I just need some help in how to best express my feedback and concern. Any help would be awesome! TIA

How has the job market changed?
I was on the job hunt back in March of this year. I was looking for office jobs, front desk work, and for some bookkeeping and found ample openings constantly. Flash forward to now, after losing my job for reasons beyond my control, I'm seeing very few, if any, openings for those fields. It's got me a bit worried.
I live around some decently sized cities (10-20k), so I'm very surprised to go a couple of days without seeing anything other than healthcare jobs or retail/fast food openings. Has the market really changed that much?

Hello all, I am looking for some resume advice.
I have a Training coordinator position (5 years) and I would like to apply for an internal and remote position as an admin/coordinator. I do have many years of executive assistant experience, but it was a long time ago so I am wondering how to incorporate this into my resume without using years? I still use this experience in my day to day to keep organized and productive. Thank you!

Sunday Scaries "wine session" - After being in the the same career for over 18 years, including one position for 8 years with 2 promotions, in 2017 I left that field and have been trying to figure out what I have wanted ever since.
I have tried a career coach, volunteering, upskilling, networking . . . and am currently in therapy . . . nothing is sticking. I have switched roles 6 times in 6 years. I have also done freelancing and tried starting my own business. And the job I have now is sucking the life out of me. I have only been there for 9 months.
Not one to whine . . . and yet here I am.
I can see the appeal of a mindless job that just pays the bills and I never have to think about a "career" again . . . am I giving up??

I live in rural West Virginia, master's level counselor/therapist with lots of experience and great references, but no license.
I'm 76 years old: too old to go back to school for 2 years and then do the 3000 hours of supervision. I work remotely for a toxic company; along with others haven't been paid in over 2 months. I love helping my clients but the $$$ issue is eating away at my peace of mind. I've interviewed several places, but lack of licensure is a hurdle. Ideas on how to get out of this trap really appreciated.
