Background: I stayed home with my kids until my divorce in 2013. I picked up a part time job and got my B.A.S. and several licenses. I'm now working for a great company doing a job I love, but it takes time to build my client base. My husband is not just not supporting my career choice, he HATES it and constantly asks me if I'm a millionaire yet, tells me he will never promote my career... Now with COVID I'm working from home around 3 kids and he works from home a couple hours a day. He'll intentionally distract me when I'm on calls and mock my conversations when I finish.
I'm not "salesy"....I have increased my network by connecting with people and learning about them. I feel that if/when they are ready for my services, they know who to ask. I know it's a "long game" for lack of a better term, but it's the way I want to build my business.
How do I keep from letting his negativity knock my confidence??
