I’m an introvert trying to figure out how to manage up. My manager is an extrovert and overall — great. But I’ve realized in order for me to better succeed within my role, I need this person to adjust their behaviour and management style to better match my needs.
Because essentially I require some thought and reflection before and after a meeting to execute findings of the meeting. And I’m not the first to speak up within larger groups. Any help on how to address this without making the manager feel bad? Again, this manager does a great job but I need to address this earlier than later before it gets too late. Thanks all!
