I live in Orlando, FL. A new hot spot for the Corona virus sweeping the globe. Specifically, I work for Uhaul-- and no, we are not closing for the virus. We are open for business!
But is that the best thing? We sanitize our trucks but there are still countless people who use them a daym we sanitize our phones and counter tops. We do NOT sanitize furniture pads, hand trucks, ect. At least, not at a corporate level. Locally, our staff does.
But in the face of multiple call outs and higher than normal demand, what with college students all suddenly needing to move back home and people being laid off-- there is a sense of unease and pressure. So-and-so cant work now because her mom has the virus. Quick! Sanitize everything. But is it too late? Someone else can't work-- they were at Disney before they closed and are not self quarantined. Go clean his locker!
I don't know. Just seems strained.... and dangerous.
