Everyday the news has something new about COVID19 and it is getting rather ridiculous and very questionable at this stage
The nation has been dealing with the COVID19 for weeks now. I have followed the orders from the federal government and from my state government health departments and leaders, wash my hands for 20 seconds and stay home. Then came the 6ft of separation when I go out to the market or drugstore, They informed us that the symptoms were fever, chest pains, short of breath and headaches, some people may have an upset stomach, lower gi distress and extreme tiredness. So, I have stayed home the entire time get a number of projects done and only been out away from my home for one hour one day to go grocery shopping at 6am when the store was open for people over 65. Hardly anyone there and the store was practicing very good precautions. I have been very good following the guidelines. Everyday on the news first story is the increase in positive cases and the number of deaths. Then comes the President with his "pep" talk followed by his doom and gloom forecast. His experts who should really be handling the press conference correct everything he just said and even gives us more information. This routine has gone on for weeks. Until today when it came out that non-symptomatic people can be carriers and spread the disease just by standing near someone and talking to them even being 6ft away! So there goes the social distancing and the handwashing rules. Here in Pennsylvania the government is working on making it mandatory for everyone to wear masks even homemade ones for the month of April. Not so much to protect themselves to protect others. What will be next, gloves? And if we have been doing the earlier things why hasn't the number down? How can we be sure it will go done with this latest set of guidelines? I just don't understand it, people are following guidelines and the numbers are growing. How many more restrictions will we be expected to follow before the numbers take a steady downturn?
