I used a resume service last fall and not happy at all with the outcome for what I paid. I feel like a lot of the important skills/aspects got left out compared to the one I had written myself. I am in the creative/marketing space and feel that my lack of a bachelor's degree may be a big reason I'm not getting any farther on interviews. I really need guidance on where to get assistance on how to play up my skill set and current industry knowledge.

Unfortunately, some job descriptions have degree requirements and there is no way around them. I'm not in your field, but I'm wondering if you may be able to e-attach a project that you specifically mentioned on your resumé so that they can see your work/skills first hand?

As someone who regularly hires in the marketing space, I am definitely attracted to online portfolios for candidates whenever possible. It's a good way to show some initiative for going above and beyond, and it can work as a more visual representation of your resume. I also think for positions that require a degree in the job listing, it's helpful to note it in your cover letter with something like "I see this position requires a bachelor's degree. However, my professional experience and skills offer a great deal of value above and beyond a degree, and I'm confident in my ability to perform this role."

Have you tried jobscan? It's a great tool to view how your resume matches the job description. It gives you solid pointers showing you what is missing on the resume.
