I have an interview coming up and I'm looking for advice on how to position myself for remote status (should it be brought up initially) The role is slightly junior to my experience as well as pay.
However the company is great and only about a 2 hour drive from where I currently live, so I can easily make it in on short notice for important meetings and for in-person facetime as needed. I'd be willing to take the lower pay to work for the organization and to stay where I live. Open to all opinions and thoughts as I've never negotiated this type of request. Additionally, I have worked freelance/remote before performing this role for other agencies in the past so I'm confident I'd be able to meet and even exceed their expectations.
