Yes! I’m a strong advocate for the thank you email. I use it as an opportunity to thank them for their time and consideration, but also as a chance to highlight those skills that make me a fit. While interviewing, jot down focus areas, then in your thank you email, focus on those skills to call them out. It’s just another reminder as the hiring manager is reviewing candidates and helps you stand out as a better fit.
