This actually happened at work and I’m bright red thinking about it
It all started with the accidental reply. Yesterday, I THOUGHT I forwarded an email to my colleague saying that this email made absolutely no sense and the person sending the email didn't know what he was talking about.
Turns out, I didn’t click forward but rather, I clicked reply! So I sent this message back to the “incompetent” sender! I tried to click “undo send” but it was too late! I’ve apologized 3 times already but have no idea what to do about this. I’m sure the sender does not like me, for good reason. This is definitely one of those situations where I learned my lesson but I’m absolutely horrified. We have a lot of meetings together and a monthly 1:1 so there is no dodging my terrible mistake/bad choice of judgement. Any and all advice on how to make this better would be much appreciated!
