I am so tired of the rejection and tomorrow's interview seems like such a great position. I am trying hard to stay confident but it is not easy, since I have been rejected for so many roles.
Part of me wants to celebrate and jump up and down, and then the other part of me is cautiously optimistic. The offer is contingent upon a successful background check. I have a misdemeanor back in 2009 when I was young and stupid. This misdemeanor has nothing to do with banking, theft, …

Coaches are slimy , non-credentialed, and it's the Wild West on who wants to use that title.
Psychologist and mental health professionals may be in mine with what you're looking for. Licensed, degreed, standards, board of ethics, and billable towards your insurance quite often.
Not to slam career coaches, but 90% of those I've encountered are just rehashed Beach Body MLM types that want to sell you services based on some online course they took, and the fact that 'all their friends ask for advice allll the time', therefore they are manifesting being a coach in their own minds.

If you are open to it, it can be a great thing. I did work with a coach a few years ago and am considering re-engaging with him now. Does your company have a coach/company that they work with? I know where I am currently, we do have specific coaches we engage with. If your company does not and it is on your to select a coach, be particular. Decide first what you want out of it. Don't just settle on the first one. Ask for recs even. The coach I worked with is specific to my field and was recommendation from a friend in the same field. What I would encourage you not to do is go to one of the 'coaches' that frequently spam these boards.
