I’m curious to know your thoughts. Prior to the pandemic, my work was on site/in the office. Just before things shut down in March, I was hired for a new job in the same field but my start date was not long after everything shut down. (Luckily those already given an offer were still given their job.) I have since been fully trained and done all job tasks remotely.
I realized early on that this new job was not the right fit. I didn’t want to jump ship without giving the job a chance, and still don’t want to leave without a contingency. Of course it may take some time since the job market is rough with this pandemic, but I’m preparing everything and updating my resume to include this job.
I’m curious to know if you all think I should add the remote work and training as a bullet point under this position or in some other manner on my resume or cover letter or both? Is it beneficial to note this since it was entirely new and I had to adapt to a new company and new way of doing a typically on-site, client-facing position?
