I’m a RN and I generally tend toward private duty pediatric nursing.

I have now had 3 incidences literally 1 child/1 teenager/1 adult was frustrated with their situation so they complain to their mom and then the mom comes at me with accusations all of which are not true. The first two I got fired… this time I quit before it got worse. I think I have to stick to corporate nursing where at least there are checks and balances. Performance improvement plans. I can handle the patients whether kid, teenager or adult. It’s the parent (in each case the mama bear) I think they are too close and protective to see their child objectively and its not my job to make them see reason. But it’s so hard, I don’t mind the jobs or helping..I just really hate false accusations. These are as much psychological cases even more then physical, but the parents refuse to see it/address it and thats half the battle. I guess if I were to say anything its to special needs mamas, before you take sides always read the nurses notes and understand all sides. It’s not easy for us taking care of your kids either and just because we get paid doesn’t mean we are your personal emotional punching bags.

Struggling to figure out what level to apply for due to the job market and having differing experience in fields.
While job searching requires customizing resumes per application, my eclectic background provides a non-traditional career path with director and management levels weaved in throughout its trajectory. Having a background in branding, communication, marketing, media and during the pandemic financial marketing, the array of industries makes it harder not easier to find a job.
My last role was a director of marketing but thousands of applications later, I have either too much experience or not enough in that specific industry / region. I want to work and keep undercutting my level and salary in order to find a job. The only problem, that's not affording the desired outcome as the catch-22 rolls out the too much experience verbiage . I'd appreciate your advice.

Does anyone have advice on how to balance beginning a health journey and work? I'm talking about exercise and eating right.
For some backstory, I started working from home about a year ago. Complete change in pace from my previous job where I was on my feet all day and pretty active outside of work for the most part. While working from the comfort of my home is a dream come true...the job is everything but that. My anxiety and depression have gotten worse as a result of it. My energy levels are lower than they've ever been in my entire life so I work, sleep, and eat with no desire for anything else.
It has to change. If anyone has any suggestions on what they do for workouts or healthier meals they go for during the week (that *actually* tastes good!) I'm all ears!
I'm just looking for suggestions to help me get started. I'm hoping once I switch jobs my energy is back up and I can go back to being active because I miss it, it's just hard right now. I think something else I struggle with is finding balance. I just want to be in a place to give my body what it deserves because I am so grateful it gets me through my days.

Done With Temp Agencies
I tried to update my availability with a local temp agency.
They pressed me for references. I had questions about the positions they were offering. I was told that they can't help me because the last 4 years of my experience was remote.
Ummm.... We had a WORLDWIDE pandemic less than 5 years ago! What about the other 6 years of my experience? Bi-lingual, billing, collections, call center, transcription, grant writing, medical coding, etc... AREN'T THOSE TRANSFERABLE skills? :-/
Their little computer bot kept requesting that I send references. I asked my references to disregard their email and we've all blocked them! (Too many "other" choices....NEXT!)
Has anyone else experienced this?
