Government and teaching usually have better benefits but lower salary. Teaching often gives Social Security and a Pension. Are you really wanting to teach others in a classroom and create Teaching Plan etc.? My suggestion is find you want you want to do. If you just want regular employment type of School System job then perhaps apply a Vice Principle or other School structure type of job. If you want to teach others, Make sure you have at least a Masters degree in teaching to start higher up the pay scale.
