What are your immediate thoughts on doing contract work vs.
being a full-time employee? I am in my early 50's and considering doing only contract work (W2 or 1099) moving forward, but would most likely have to pay for my own health insurance. Some recruiting/job placement agencies (W2 work) offer health insurance, so I assume that there would be times where I would get my health insurance through them. For those with experience in this area, are there any downsides that I might be ignoring? Thank you for any and all feedback.
